Directions

Step 1

Slices of bacon

Peel the potatoes and cut into roughly 1cm cubes and boil for 10 minutes. While they are boiling cut the bacon into small pieces.

Step 2

Fried pieces of potato and bacon

Once the potatoes have boiled, add 2 tablespoons of oil to a frying pan. Fry them for 5 minutes on a medium heat. Add the bacon and fry for a further 10 minutes.

The meal is ready once the bacon and potatoes are brown, you can cook it longer so the potatoes and bacon are crispy.

Step 3

It is now ready to serve or first you can cook a fried or poached egg.

If you have tried this recipe, what did you think of it?

e.g. Were the instructions easy to follow, did it taste okay, any disasters?

Would you tweak this recipe? If so, how?

e.g. Add half a chopped onion, use less butter, shake not stir...
