Popcorn Biscuits recipe

|Description||These biscuits are a healthy way to use up left over popcorn.|

Preheat the oven to 160°C / 325°F / Gas Mark 3 and line two trays with baking paper.
In a large bowl cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the apple and vanilla.
Sift together the flours, bicarbonate of soda and salt.
Gradually add the flour to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
Stir in the popcorn.
Place heaped tablespoonfuls of batter onto the baking trays, 5cm (2") apart to allow room for spreading.
Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Allow to cool completely on the tray.
Store in an airtight container.
