Description This is a lip-smacking, full of flavor pasta dish. I make it with lower fat items, such as, fat free cream cheese and 98% fat free cream of chicken. Serve with your favorite crusty bread and a side salad for a fabulous meal.

Ingredients

Imperial | Metric | USA
  • 3 chicken breasts (skinless and boneless)
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 packet dry italian style salad dressing mix
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 4oz cream cheese with chives
  • 12oz angel hair pasta

Directions

Step 1

Boil chicken for 20 minutes in a pot of water. Remove chicken from water, set aside. Pour out water.

Step 2

Melt butter in a sauce pot over low heat. Stir in the package of dressing mix. Blend in chicken broth and cream of chicken soup. Mix in cream cheese, and stir until smooth. Heat through, but do not boil.

Step 3

Cut chicken into bite sized pieces. Add to drained pasta. Pour sauce onto pasta & chicken. Mix well. Serve hot.
