Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 5 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- tabasco (I like my chex mix spicy, so I use 5 or 6 shakes (or more))
- ½ cup salted butter (melted)
- 9 cups cereal
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 120°C / 250°F / Gas Mark ½.
In a large pan with deep sides (I use a roasting pan), combine butter, Worcestershire, tabasco, and spices.
Add in the 9 cups of cereal, stirring and folding until everything is completely coated in the butter mixture.
Step 2
Bake for 1 hour, stirring throughly every 15 minutes to ensure even coating and baking.
Remove from oven and allow to cool.
Store in an air-tight container for up to 5 days.
