Ingredients
- 10oz semi sweet chocolate (Preferably Ghirardelli Chocolate)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (organic)
- ½ cup milk (organic)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter (organic)
Directions
Step 1
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler over low heat and stir constantly not to scorch the chocolate.
Step 2
Add the powdered sugar and milk in 3 equal parts, switching off from powdered sugar to milk with constant stirring to make sure there are no clumps and it maintains a smooth consistency.
Step 3
Add the vanilla extract and peanut butter and continue to stir until it is fully incorporated.
Note: You may need to add a bit more milk to whisk in the peanut butter, just add 1 Tablespoon at a time no to thin out the consistency too much.
Step 4
Once everything is mixed in, turn off heat and allow to cool slightly before applying to the layers of the cake and all around the outside of the cake.
