Description Here's an easy recipe for chocolate chip cookies. They really were very easy to make, even a 2 year old could help, and they were really tasty.

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 175ºC / 350ºF / Gas Mark 4. Grease baking trays.

Step 2

Sift together the flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt. Set aside.

Step 3

Cream together the melted butter, brown sugar and caster sugar until well blended. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

Step 4

Mix in the sifted ingredients then add the chocolate chips and mix in by hand.

Step 5

Drop the cookie dough onto the trays. Space them out well and do not flatten.

Step 6

Bake for around 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Leave to cool for a few minutes before transferring onto a wire cooling rack.
