Ingredients

Imperial | Metric | USA
  • 200g morning coffee biscuit (or turkish petibor)
  • 100g butter (melted)
  • 200g mascarpone cheese
  • 3 tablespoons yoghurt
  • 200g granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 200g plain chocolate
  • 200g double cream

Directions

Step 1

Breakfast biscuits on a plate.

The biscuits look like this.

Step 2

Biscuits that have been crumbled and are ready to be mixed with melted butter.

Crumble the biscuits in a food processor, and add the melted butter.

Step 3

Biscuits that have been crumbled and mixed with melted butter.

Mix the crumbled biscuits with the butter.

Step 4

Chocolate cheese cake biscuit base in a tin.

Lay baking paper into the baking tin and put the only circle part of the cake tin on it (not the base).

Put the biscuit mixture into the circle and press down with your hands.

Step 5

Chocolate cheese cake mixture in a tin.

Preheat the oven to 170C.

In a mixing bowl, mix the eggs, sugar, mascarpone cheese, flour, yoghurt and vanilla extract.

Pour this mixture onto the biscuit mixture.

Bake for 30 minutes until it becomes firm, then leave to cool.

Step 6

Boil the cream in a small saucepan, then remove from the heat and add the chocolate.

Melt and mix the chocolate with the cream and allow to cool for 5 minutes.

Step 7

Pour the chocolate mixture into the tin.

Then put the tin to the refrigerator and leave there for 8 hours or overnight.
