Ingredients

  • 2 medium pita bread (wholemeal is healthier than white)
  • 1 medium chicken breast
  • 100g salsa sauce
  • 1 small butternut squash
  • 100g chick peas

Directions

Step 1

A chicken breast

Remove the skin from the chicken breast.

Step 2

Chopped chicken breast

Chop the chicken breast into pieces (roughly the same size so they cook evenly).

Step 3

Chopped butternut squash

Chop up two small handfuls of butternut squash into even sized chunks.

Step 4

Chicken breast and butternut squash on a grill

Place the chicken onto a grill and leave for 3 minutes, then add the butternut squash and cook for a further 2 minutes.

Step 5

Pita bread with salsa sauce and chick peas

Cut open the 2 pita breads and spread with salsa sauce and chick peas to the pita bread.

Step 6

Pita bread with chicken,butternut squash, salsa sauce and chick peas

Once cooked, add the chicken and the butternut squash to the pita bread.

Step 7

Close the pita bread and eat while hot.
