Chicken cacciatore recipe

|Description||Chicken Cacciatore is a classic Italian dish. The word cacciatore in Italian means "hunter", therefore the meal was designed for any type of meat not just chicken.|

Season the chicken pieces with the spices and place in a 4 inch deep Pyrex pan.
Broil the chicken for approximately 10 minutes
Mix the sauce ingredients, heat and adjust seasoning to your own taste.
Spread a small amount of the sauce directly on the chicken pieces, then layer the potatoes on top of the chicken.
Spread the rest of the sauce to cover the top layer of potatoes.
Bake in a 200ºC / 400ºF / gas mark 6 pre-heated oven for about 45 minutes.
