Ingredients

Imperial | Metric | USA
  • 200g chinese noodles (cooked according to package directions)
  • 200g beef (chopped or cut into fine strips)
  • 200g mixed vegetables (carrots, onions, bell pepper, pak choi - finely cut)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon roasted sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce
  • 250ml vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon chilli paste
  • 1 teaspoon ginger and garlic (finely chopped)

Directions

Step 1

To make the spiced broth mixture, mix the following in a bowl:

1 tablespoon roasted sesame oil
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
1 tablespoon barbecue sauce
250ml vegetable broth
1 teaspoon chilli paste
1 teaspoon finely chopped ginger and garlic

Heat the oil in a wok and fry the meat.

Step 2

Meat and vegatables frying in a wok.

Add vegetables and continue to fry for a further 3 minutes while stirring constantly.

Step 3

Add the noodles and fry briefly. Plus mix the ingredients into the wok as well.

Step 4

Pour in the prepared spiced broth mixture.

Continue frying until cooked.
